Nintendo has officially announced “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” as the title of its sequel to 2017’s iconic video game “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”.
In addition, the title finally has a release date – May 12th 2023.
The sequel was first announced as being in the works back in 2019, then went radio silent until last year with a brief trailer released. The game had hoped to come out this year but was pushed back to Spring 2023.
In addition to the vast lands of Hyrule, the new entry will take you up into the skies and an expanded world that goes beyond that, according to Nintendo. Check out the first key art below.
