Former One Direction member Zayn Malik is teaming with “Bridgerton” actress Simone Ashley, comedian Mo Gilligan, and actors Sophie Okonedo and Dylan Llewellyn have joined the voice cast of Chris Jenkins’ CG-animated family comedy “10 Lives”.
The story follows a pampered and selfish cat (Gilligan) who takes for granted the lives he has been dealt. After carelessly losing his ninth life, he begs to be given a second chance – an opportunity to show he can learn from his mistakes. His wish is granted but with awkward stipulations.
Ashley voices the passionate research student Rose who is intent on saving the world’s bee population, whilst Llewellyn plays her lab partner.
Malik voices two twin brother characters Kirk and Cameron, who act tough but deep down they only want to please their mother. Okonedo plays an ethereal being who grants the cat his extra lives.
