Zack Snyder Not In Contact With Gunn’s DC

Warner Bros. Pictures

Years on, there’s still a sizable contingent on the internet that wants to see Zack Snyder return to DC to continue on with the ‘Snyderverse’ characters he introduced in “Man of Steel,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and his own 2021 cut of “Justice League”.

In a recent appearance on The Preston and Steve Show, Snyder was asked if anyone has reached out to him from the company since the announcement of DC Studios and its new heads James Gunn and Peter Safran.

Snyder told the show that as far as he knows, no one over there has reached out to him for anything, but he wishes them all the best:

“As far as I know, which is very little, I am doing my thing and haven’t had anyone give me a call or anything. So I am just wishing them all the best and hoping that they make some cool movies.”

As revealed in a ‘town hall’ meeting last week, Gunn and Safran are hard at work on a ‘bible’ charting the future of DC for Warner Bros. Discovery.

Warners still has several remnants of Snyder’s DCEU left to ‘burn off’, including the upcoming films like “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” and “The Flash”, with both of those arriving in cinemas next year.
