Zac Efron is attached to star in the true-crime story “Narc” for LBI and 20th Century Fox.
Called a “collegiate Donnie Brasco,” the story follows a popular college student, lacrosse captain and fraternity president busted by local police for cocaine.
He was then offered a deal – he would not be arrested if he became an undercover informant to help put away big-time criminals.
Grant Myers penned the script while Julie and Rick Yorn will produce.
