Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions have announced that the psychological thriller “You Should Have Left” will be going to Premium VOD and will launch on June 19th.
Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried star as a couple seeking a restful vacation with their six year old daughter on an isolated edge of the world in the Welsh countryside.
The marriage is collapsing due to secrets tied to his jealousy, her secretiveness and his mysterious past. Things soon distort into a nightmare when his grasp on reality begins to unravel and he suspects that a sinister force within the house knows more about them than they know themselves.
“Jurassic Park” scribe David Koepp directs and helms this adaptation of Daniel Kehlmann’s German novel. Koepp and Bacon teamed over two decades ago on Koepp’s “A Stir of Echoes”. Jason Blum is producing.
