Xbox Series S Announced With Price

After many rumors about it, Microsoft has finally confirmed the Xbox Series S – a lower-priced and lower-powered counterpart to the upcoming Xbox Series X.

Coming in at U.S. $299 and dubbed the “smallest Xbox ever,” the company claims the device will offer “next-gen performance.” No specs or release date were given.

Previous reports have suggested the console offers around 4 TFlops of power – more than the 1.31TF of the original Xbox One, but less than the 6TF of the Xbox One X and way behind the 12TF of the Xbox Series X.

It’s also rumored both the Series S & Series X (retailing at $499) will go on sale November 10th.
