Shailene Woodley, Anthony Mackie and Jacob Latimore are set to star in Andres Baiz’s thriller “Panopticon” for AGC Studios and Scott Free.
Woodley plays an ambitious young Wall Street trader who seizes upon a hot investment opportunity in a private and profitable prison group. She soon uncovers an operation rife with violence and malfeasance.
Forced to choose between profiting and doing the right thing, she teams up with a local prison guard (Mackie) to take on a culture of corrupt boardrooms, white supremacists, prison gangs and crooked correctional officers.
Kevin Walsh, Stuart Ford and Linda McDonough are producing and shooting kicks off this Summer in New Mexico from a script by Emily Jerome.
