The Spring film release slate has been cleared of major titles due to the coronavirus pandemic, the key exception for now is Disney and Marvel Studios’ Black Widow” which will likely hold out for the next week or two to see how things progress.
Should they move it though, and should the virus be contained relatively quickly (ie. by end of April), then it’s likely the first major tentpole film to herald the return of cinemagoing will be Patty Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman 1984” which is currently slated for a June 5th bow.
Today, Warner Bros. Pictures has released a motion poster and two regular posters for the feature counting down the 84 days until the sequel is released – all three offering a glimpse of Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince in her Golden Eagle armour.
The poster arrives as another film, the newest adaptation of “The Secret Garden,” has pushed back its international release from April to August.
