Game developer CD Projekt Red has announced that both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of “Cyberpunk 2077” and “The Witcher III: Wild Hunt” have been delayed.
The updated versions of “Cyberpunk 2077” will arrive in the first quarter of next year, while the new ports of “The Witcher III” will hit in the second quarter.
The team had previously shared a roadmap in January that listed the current-gen versions of “Cyberpunk 2077” for 2021, while the upgrades for “The Witcher III” were due in the second half of 2021.
The news is just another blow for the company that took a reputation knockout in the wake of the infamously bug-ridden launch of “Cyberpunk 2077”. They have spent the last ten months patching the game which has improved but still remains plagued with issues.
