“Black Panther” actor Winston Duke is joining Ryan Gosling in “The Fall Guy” at Universal Pictures. The project is currently shooting in Sydney.
Based on the 1980s adventure television series, the film also stars Emily Blunt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Stephanie Hsu and is being helmed by David Leitch (“Bullet Train”).
Drew Pearce penned the script, which focuses on a battered and past-his-prime stuntman (Gosling) who finds himself back on a movie with the star for whom he doubled long ago and who replaced him.
The wrinkle, however, is that the star (Taylor-Johnson) has gone missing. Duke will play the best friend of the stuntman. Guymon Casady, Kelly McCormick and Leitch are producing.
