Ruth Wilson (“His Dark Materials,” “Luther”) and Andrew Scott (“Fleabag,” “Sherlock”) are teaming for the espionage thriller “Oslo” at HBO Films. Filming is currently taking place in Prague ahead of a release on HBO and HBO Max next year.
An original film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning play, the true story tale deals with the negotiations between implacable enemies – the secret back-channel talks, unlikely friendships and quiet heroics of a small but committed group of Israelis, Palestinians and one Norwegian couple that led to the 1993 Oslo Peace Accords.
J.T. Rogers, who also wrote the stage play, is adapted the script while Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher (“South Pacific”) is directing. Producers include Marc Platt, Kristie Macosko Krieger, David Litvak and Steven Spielberg.
