Amazon Prime has premiered the official trailer for their new thriller drama “White Dragon” starring John Simm (“Doctor Who,” “Life on Mars”). The eight-episode series previously aired in the UK and comes to Amazon Prime in the US on February 8th.
Simm plays a sheltered London professor who tries to unravel the mystery behind his wife’s sudden death in a car accident on the mountain roads near Hong Kong.
As he digs deeper, he’s drawn into a web of conspiracy as he tries to find out the truth about the woman he loved. Anthony Wong, Emilia Fox, Katie Leung, Tim McInnerny, Anthony Hayes and Dervla Kirwan co-star.
That’s not the only new show getting a launch date and trailer today. Netflix has released the trailer for their upcoming comedy series “Russian Doll” starring Natasha Lyonne and co-created by her and Amy Poehler.
That series follows a young woman named Nadia (Lyonne) on her journey as the guest of honor at a seemingly inescapable party one night in New York City. Greta Lee, Elizabeth Ashley, Yul Vazquez and Charlie Barnett co-star in the series which launches globally February 1st.
