Wes Anderson’s 39-minute short film “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar” premiered at the Venice International Film Festival to rave reviews last week.
Yet, as we know, the short is just one of four short films the “Asteroid City” and “The French Dispatch” director has shot based on short stories by famed author Roald Dahl. The other three remain under wraps and, until now, it was not clear what the plan was in terms of releasing them.
Well, Netflix has revealed its plans for all four films, and they’re coming sooner than you think. According to The Wrap, the streamer is set to release one short per day over a four-day window from September 27th-30th.
The films feature a core cast that plays multiple roles incluing Ralph Fiennes, Rupert Friend, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dev Patel, Richard Ayoade and Ben Kingsley.
