Ahead of its premiere next month, Marvel Studios has released a new featurette for its upcoming Halloween special “Werewolf By Night”.
In the special, a secret group of monster hunters gather at Bloodstone Manor following the death of their leader and engage in a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic, which will bring them face to face with a dangerous monster.
The black-and-white work, which evokes classic Universal monster movies, has drawn rave reviews thus far and will have larger MCU implications according to Marvel’s Kevin Feige who says in the clip: “we’re introducing a world that will ultimately become quite important to the future of the MCU.”
Gael Garcia Bernal, Laura Donnelly, Harriet Sansom Harris, Al Hamacher, Eugenie Bondurant, Kirk Thatcher, Leonardo Nam, Jaycob Maya and Daniel J. Watts also star.
Composer Michael Giacchino makes his directorial debut with the Disney+ special from a script by Heather Quinn and Peter Cameron. The one-off will premiere next Friday (October 7th)
