Netflix has premiered a new promo trailer for its Tim Burton-directed live-action “Addams Family” series “Wednesday,” this one serving as an infomercial for the Nevermore Academy which serves as the setting for much of the series.
Hailing from “Smallville” creators Miles Millar and Alfred Gough, the story begins with a number of murders plaguing the small town where Wednesday has been sent to Nevermore Academy, a prestigious boarding school for outcasts.
The eight-episode series stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Issac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Gwendoline Christie as Headmistress Larissa Weems, George Burcea as Lurch, Victor Dorobantu as Thing and the likes of Thora Birch, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White and Christina Ricci.
“Wednesday” is slated to premiere sometime this Fall.
