Former “Dave” and “The Ice Storm” co-stars Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver are set to re-team in the drama feature “The Good House” for Amblin Partners, FilmNation Entertainment and Universal Pictures.
Maya Forbes and Wally Wolodarsky are penning and directing this adaptation of Ann Leary’s bestseller of the same name which will begin production in Canada this week.
The story follows a New England realtor who lives in a small town on Boston’s North Shore who is a good neighbor, mother and grandmother. She is also a raging alcoholic and her life starts to unravel as she rekindles an old romance.
Jane Rosenthal, Berry Welsh and Aaron Ryder will produce.
