“Warrior” Season 3 Sets Max Launch

Max

Max original series “Warrior,” which previously aired on Cinemax, has set a June 29th double-episode premiere date for its third season along with releasing a brief 15-second teaser.

Based on the writings of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, the gritty crime drama is set during the brutal Tong Wars of San Francisco’s Chinatown in the late 19th century.

In the wake of the race riots that upended Chinatown in the second season, Mai Ling (Dianne Doan) uses her government connections to consolidate power.

At the same time, Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji) and the Hop Wei must find new ways to survive as the tongs have been left to fight each other for scraps whilst cops are enforcing a slew of cruel new ordinances.

Ah Sahm must soon decide if he is a warrior fighting to protect the innocent or a gangster violently enforcing the Hop Wei’s power.

Olivia Cheng, Jason Tobin, Kieran Bew, Dean Jagger, Tom Weston-Jones, Hoon Lee, Perry Yung, Langley Kirkwood, Miranda Raison, Chen Tang, Chelsea Muirhead, Mark Dacascos and Joe Taslim co-star.
