Warners Moves Up “The Flash” Film

Warner Bros. Pictures

Warner Bros. Pictures has reportedly moved up the Ezra Miller-led “The Flash” film by a week to June 16th 2023 – just in time for Father’s Day.

According to Deadline, the film will now go up against Pixar’s “Elemental” and the Jennifer Lawrence-led R-rated drama “No Hard Feelings”.

Despite the tabloid headlines surrounding Miller, who issued a public apology for his troubling behaviour back in mid-August, Warner Discovery CEO David Zaslav has steadfastly stuck to the plan of releasing the film theatrically.

Part of the reason is that the film has reportedly landed stellar test scores and is being dubbed “Spider-Man: No Way Home good”. It’s a film that boasts appearances by both Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as Batman.

Warner Bros. Pictures has also added “Mummies” to its schedule with a February 24th 2023 release planned. Sean Bean and Hugh Bonneville lend their voices to that project.
