Warners’ Gaming Unit May Be Sold Off

AT&T has reportedly expressed intent to sell its gaming division Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment in a deal worth potentially $4 billion.

Electronic Arts, Activision Blizzard and Take-Two Interactive Studios have all reportedly expressed interest in taking ownership of the company which would given its owner an immediate large library of valuable licensed gaming titles.

These would include franchises such as the “Batman: Arkham” games, “Mortal Kombat,” “Injustice,” “F.E.A.R.” multiple LEGO-based games, and games based on film franchises like “Harry Potter,” “The Matrix,” “Lord of the Rings,” “Game of Thrones” and “Mad Max”.
