AMC Networks has announced that both the upcoming “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” and the about-to-finish airing “The Walking Dead: Dead City” have scored renewals.
Both shows will officially be getting a second season. The ‘Dixon’ renewal comes as little surprise as the production has been seen filming in recent months even though the first season is said to have wrapped back in April.
AMC has also announced that the first spin-off series, “Fear the Walking Dead,” will premiere the second half of its final season on October 22nd – bringing that show to an end after eight seasons.
Next, AMC has released both the full trailer for the ‘Daryl Dixon’ series, and the first teaser for the Rick and Michonne series, which is now titled “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” and is expected to release next year.
That Rick and Michonne teaser keeps things vague as and shows the pair separated, with Rick fighting for his life. The clip also confirms the 2024 window but doesn’t get more specific than that.
“The Walking Dead: Dead City” season finale airs this Sunday, July 23rd. “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” is slated to premiere on September 10th.
