Walden Media picked up Carley and Chelsea Steiner’s family-comedy spec script “Tough Cookies” reports the trades.
The story is centered on a judge ordering a deadbeat dad and his rebellious daughter’s friends to form a girl scout troop.
They then use their unconventional ways to compete against snobbish rivals to win a national scout competition.
Jordan Kerner will produce. The Steiner sisters also penned the belly dancing-themed screenplay “Jelly”.
