Empire Magazine has revealed exclusive covers for its upcoming issue which puts the focus on Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”.
One cover sees Shuri (Letitia Wright), Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) and Namor (Tenoch Huerta) in full costume. The other offers a better and more detailed look at Namor’s Mesoamerican-inspired costume.
In the film, Namor is the ruler of the Talocan underwater civilization based on the mythical Aztec paradise as opposed to the traditional Atlantean origins of the comics (and also avoiding confusion with Aquaman).
The new issue hits shelves on September 29th with the film’s full trailer expected to debut in the next few weeks ahead of the film’s opening on November 11th.
