Back in January, concept art and an apparent copy of the script for “Jurassic World” filmmaker Colin Trevorrow’s ninth “Star Wars” episode film – titled “Star Wars: Duel of the Fates” – leaked online.
Trevorrow of course was originally supposed to write and direct the final episode in the Skywalker saga, but was ultimately replaced by J.J. Abrams and the story was taken in a new direction which became “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”.
The filmmaker did confirm the title and some of the concept art going around were indeed part of his original vision for the film. Now, YouTuber Mr. Sunday Movies has done a CG animated recreation of the main beats of Trevorrow’s script which you can see below.
Abrams’ “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” meanwhile is now available on home video.
