Apple’s multiple Emmy-winning comedy series “Ted Lasso” has released a holiday-themed short film utilising the same stop-motion animated technique seen in the opening credits of the second season’s beloved Christmas episode.
Running at four minutes, many of the main cast like Jason Sudeikis and Hannah Waddingham reprise their roles in claymation form for the special which is all about Ted losing his moustache. Ultimately he realises the meaning of the holiday season.
Series co-creator Bill Lawrence and the show’s writers are currently at work penning the third season which is expected to begin production early next year for a Summer 2022 debut.
