Netflix has renewed the popular Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson-led drama series “Virgin River” for two more seasons.
The twenty-episode order gives the show a fourth and fifth season. The series has been a strong performer for Netflix and spent several weeks atop Nielsen’s streaming rankings after the recent third season launched in July.
Based on the novels by Robyn Carr, the story follows a midwife and nurse practitioner in a small Northern California town. Colin Lawrence, Jenny Cooper, Lauren Hammersley, Annette O’Toole and Tim Matheson co-star.
