Viola Davis has been set to star and produce the action-thriller “G20” for Amazon Studios and MRC Film.
Noah and Logan Miller (“White Boy Rick”) penned the script, with revisions by Caitlin Parrish and Erica Weiss. The story unfolds at the annual G20 Summit which is overtaken by terrorists.
Davis is playing U.S. president Taylor Sutton who must bring all her statecraft and military experience to bear to defend her family, her fellow leaders, and, of course, the world.
Patricia Riggen (“The 33”) helms the feature, with Davis, Andrew Lazar and Julius Tennon producing.
