Vince Vaughn will star in the new ten-episode drama “Bad Monkey” for the Apple TV+ service.
Based on a 2013 novel of the same name by Carl Hiaasen, the series has Vaughn playing Andrew Yancey – a former South Florida detective who has been mysteriously demoted to restaurant inspector.
When a tourist hooks a severed human arm whilst fishing, Yancy sets out on a journey that uncovers ties into corruption and environmental devastation.
Vaughn and Bill Lawrence (“Ted Lasso,” “Scrubs”) will executive produce and Lawrence will serve as head writer.
