Vin Diesel Gives A Fourth “Riddick” Script Update

After nearly a year without an update, actor/producer Vin Diesel has confirmed on social media that the script for a fourth film in the “Riddick” franchise will arrive next week.

A screenplay for the film was rumored to be finished last Summer but from the sounds of it has undergone some re-writes since then.

Talk of a fourth film in the series has been cropping up for over five years. With a nine year gap between the second and third films, we know this is a franchise that takes its time.

Back in 2017 Diesel indicated it would be a hard R sci-fi horror thriller, though it’s not clear if that’s still the case. David Twohy co-writes and directs the film series which began with the acclaimed “Pitch Black” back in 2000.
