Rob Thomas, the creator of “Veronica Mars” and director of the upcoming film version of the teen detective comedy/drama, has confirmed that the movie is set to hit everywhere at once.
Thomas announced on Friday that the crowd-funded “Veronica Mars” film will simultaneously hit theaters globally and score a VOD/digital release on the likes of iTunes, Amazon and more – all on March 14th.
This would mark the first official Warner Brothers studio release to utilise the same day-and-date VOD window – a releasing method that is mostly utilised by smaller indie distributors.
