The release of the Tom Hardy-led sequel “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” has been delayed a week and now opens September 24th.
The film was most recently pushed to September from June 25th due to the COVID-19 pandemic and now will open opposite the musical “Dear Evan Hansen” and “The Sopranos” prequel film “The Many Saints of Newark”.
Its biggest competition comes in the form of Denis Villeneuve’s long-awaited sci-fi epic “Dune” which arrives on October 1st followed by the James Bond film “No Time to Die” a week later on October 8th.
