“Vader Immortal” Is Coming To PSVR

ILMxLAB have announced that all three chapters of “Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series” is coming to PlayStation VR this Summer. The trio of episodes will be available together as one individual purchase on the format.

Until now the title had only been available on Oculus Quest and Rift headsets, but Sony’s PSVR has the largest marketshare of any VR device and so its transition across to that platform as well is understandable.

In the VR series which is set between “Revenge of the Sith” and “A New Hope,” you play a smuggler operating near Mustafar. When you are unexpectedly pulled out of hyperspace, you find yourself uncovering an ancient mystery at the behest of the Sith Lord himself.

The series won Best VR/AR Game at the 2020 Game Developers’ Choice Awards and includes popular Lightsaber Dojo modes, where fans can spend hours honing their skills with iconic lightsabers.

Created in close collaboration with the Lucasfilm Story Group, the series is in canon and was written by David S. Goyer. Scott Lawrence voices Vader while Maya Rudolph plays droid sidekick ZO-E3.
