Following a two month delay in the wake of two police shootings back in July, USA Network has announced a new November 15th premiere sate for its thriller series “Shooter” starring Ryan Phillippe.
Based on Stephen Hunter’s novel “Point of Impact” and the 2007 Mark Wahlberg-led film adaptation “Shooter,” Phillippe plays a highly decorated ex-Marine sniper who is coaxed back into action to foil a plot to kill the president.
He ends up being framed for murder and must go on the run. Omar Epps, Shantel Vansanten, Eddie McClintock and Cynthia Addai-Robinson also star.
To clear his name & find the truth – he has to survive. @RyanPhillippe stars as #BobLeeSwagger. #ShooterTV premieres 11.15 at 10/9c on USA. pic.twitter.com/1EFrQzQp1h
