USA Network has renewed its anthology drama “The Sinner” for a fourth season.
Bill Pullman will reprise his role as Detective Harry Ambrose, taking on a new ‘whydunit’ case, while Derek Simonds is also set to return as showrunner alongside fellow executive producers Jessica Biel, Michelle Purple and Charlie Gogolak.
With cancellations like “Dare Me,” “Treadstone” and “The Purge,” USA Network has jettisoned most of its scripted series but renewing this was a no brainer as the show has been a solid performer since launch, though the recent third season earlier this year saw its numbers drop precipitously.
