Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation’s “Trolls 3” has announced a November 17th 2023 theatrical release.
The announcement comes on the heels of last year’s sequel “Trolls World Tour” which marked the first major film release to break the theatrical window during the coronavirus pandemic.
The film was launched as a PVOD title and earned over $100 million on streaming platforms in its first weeks and was seen as a big success story.
Now, Universal is returning to the more traditional model with “Trolls 3” expected to first get an exclusive theatrical release.
