Sony Pictures has halted pre-production for a whopping six weeks on the film adaptation of the popular “Uncharted” video game series.
Shooting was slated to begin next month in Berlin, but in light of the coronavirus pandemic the studio has opted to delay the shoot indefinitely.
It’s currently unclear when filming will begin but it will likely impact the March 5th 2021 release date. Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg and Antonio Banderas lead the cast of the long-gestating project which Ruben Fleischer will helm.
Holland plays Nathan Drake, a treasure hunter who journeys across the world to uncover various historical mysteries.
