While many shows have shut down either their production or post-production phases due to the coronavirus pandemic, some that are near completion are still being worked on from homes or with a skeleton crew in their offices.
One such program is Netflix’s “The Umbrella Academy” which is reportedly still being worked on. The series wrapped filming of its second season back in November and has been in post-production since, with a good swath of it complete.
Showrunner Steve Blackman has taken to Instagram this week to update fans, saying work is underway on the sound mix. A bearded and long-haired Diego Hargreeves (David Castaneda) can be glimpsed in the photo from the mixing booth.
The second season will follow in the wake of the first season finale which saw the Hargeeves siblings travelling back in time in a bid to save the world from destruction. The first season launched in February last year and Netflix has yet to set a date for the second season premiere.
