“Umbrella Academy” Renewed For Season Three

Netflix has officially renewed “The Umbrella Academy” for a third season, the order coming more than three months since the hit superhero series debuted its ten-episode second season in July.

Production is expected to start in February next year suggesting either a late 2021 or early 2022 airing. The second season saw the family stuck primarily in 1963 in an effort to avert a second apocalypse.

The finale ended with them back in the present and having successfully averted both, but that has led to changes in the timeline.

Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, David Castaneda, Aidan Gallagher, and Colm Feore are all expected to return.
