Newcomer Kota Eberhardt and “Bridge of Spies” actor Scott Sheperd have reportedly both joined Simon Kinberg’s currently in production “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” for 20th Century Fox.
That Hashtag Show says Eberhardt will play a character named ‘Luna,’ speculated to be a code name for a comics mutant such as Lorelei. Sheperd will play Jean Grey’s father.
Additionally, Evan Jonigkeit and Gregg Lowe from “X-Men: Days of Future Past” are reportedly in talks to return for the new film, reprising their roles of Toad and Ink respectively.
Filming on the new “X-Men” is currently underway in Montreal ahead of a late 2018 release.
