FXX’s upcoming animated comedy series “Little Demon” will serve as a “Twins” reunion between Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Announced during the animated series’ Comic-Con panel on Friday, executive producer and star DeVito confirmed Schwarzenegger’s involvement during the presentation and says he “got to be there when he recorded”.
The series is set thirteen years after a woman (Aubrey Plaza) is impregnated by the Devil (Danny DeVito). Now she and her Antichrist daughter (Lucy DeVito) attempt to live an ordinary life in Delaware, but are constantly thwarted by monstrous forces – including Satan who yearns for custody of his daughter’s soul.
Also revealed is that the legendary Mel Brooks will lend his voice as well as Michael Shannon, Patrick Wilson, Dave Bautista, Will Jackson Harper, Pamela Adlon, Rhea Perlman, Shangela, June Diane Raphael, Toks Olagundoye, Eugene Cordero, Lennon Parham. Lamorne Morris, and Sam Richardson.
The series premieres with two episodes airing back-to-back on Thursday, August 25th.
