While many “Twilight” fans won’t let go of their beloved franchise, one person who seems happy to walk away is the woman who created it all – author Stephenie Meyer.
Out promoting the film “Austenland” which she produced, Meyer was asked about “Twilight” and seemed happy to be moving on to other new and exciting challenges:
“I get further away every day. I am so over it. For me, it’s not a happy place to be” she tells Variety. Would she ever come back to the franchise? “What I would probably do is three paragraphs on my blog saying which of the characters died. I’m interested in spending time in other worlds, like Middle Earth.”
