Apple TV+ has released the trailer for the comedy series “Ted Lasso” starring Jason Sudeikis.
Sudeikis, who co-wrote the show with Bill Lawrence, reprises the role of the titular American football coach which he first portrayed in 2013.
The half-hour comedy series will follow Lasso who finds himself in a difficult situation when he was suddenly hired to manage an English soccer team despite not having any soccer coaching experience. Brendan Hunt co-stars.
Sudeikis, Lawrence, Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer executive produce. The series is set to debut on Friday August 14th.
