A couple of new promo trailers have been released for upcoming series ranging from new seasons to revivals to whole new shows.
Things kick off with Disney+ showing the first trailer for their series adaptation of Trenton Lee Stewart’s best-selling “The Mysterious Benedict Society” books.
That series follows the adventures of four gifted orphans who are recruited by the eccentric Mr. Benedict (Tony Hale) to save the world from his evil twin brother (also Hale). Kristen Schaal and Ryan Hurst co-star in the series which hits the service June 25th.
TBS has released a new teaser for “Miracle Workers: Oregon Trail,” the third season of the top-rated anthology comedy series starring Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, and Karan Soni. The new run, which is set in the American Old West, returns July 13th.
TNT has released the official trailer for the fifth season of “Animal Kingdom” featuring the return of the Codys following the death of Smurf. Unfortunately the fight for who will lead this crime family could divide them. The new season will premiere on Sunday, July 11th.
Netflix has released the trailer for the second season of “Black Summer” which returns June 17th. Winter comes with cold-blooded new challenges during the zombie apocalypse as frantic scavengers and violent militias battle the dead and desperate.
The David Schwimmer-led cybercrime workplace comedy “Intelligence” returns for a second season on Peacock on June 17th. In the new season the Russians have just acquired a cyberweapon that Jerry was instrumental in developing. With his personal safety now in jeopardy, he and Joseph must discover a way to destroy it.
ABC has released the teaser trailer for their reboot of “The Wonder Years” which hails from executive producers Saladin Patterson, Fred Savage, and Lee Daniels. The new take is a coming-of-age story set in the late 1960s that takes a nostalgic look at a Black middle-class family in Alabama through the point-of-view of imaginative 12-year-old Dean.
Finally, CBS has released trailers for the first seasons of their three upcoming crime spin-offs – “CSI: Vegas,” “NCIS: Hawai’i” and “FBI: International” which all debut this Fall
