Peacock has renewed Abe Forsythe’s series “Wolf Life Me” for a second season. Forsythe created, executive produced and directed the entire six-episode first season which premiered in January.

Oscar-winner Adrien Brody has been cast opposite Natasha Lyonne in the ten-episode mystery drama series “Poker Face” at Peacock.

The fun, character-driven case-of-the-week mystery hails from filmmaker Rian Johnson and also stars the likes of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Stephanie Hsu, Benjamin Bratt and David Castaneda. [Source: Deadline]

Jenny Han
“To All the Boys” author Jenny Han has signed an overall film and television deal with Amazon. The news comes as Han is currently adapting her young adult novel “The Summer I Turned Pretty” for the streamer as a series and serves as co-showrunner and executive producer. [Source: Variety]

Freeform’s half-hour comedy “Single Drunk Female,” starring Sofia Black D’Elia and Ally Sheedy, has been renewed for a second season.

The series centers on a twentysomething alcoholic (D’Elia) who, after a public flame-out at a New York media company, is forced to seize the only chance she has to sober up and avoid jail time: moving back home with her overbearing mother (Sheedy) in Boston. [Source: TV Line]

Hacks
HBO Max has premiered the full trailer for the second season of its critically acclaimed comedy series “Hacks” which sees Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder’s characters head out on a road trip.

Laurie Metcalf, Martha Kelly, Ming-Na Wen, Susie Essman, Margaret Cho and Devon Sawa are all set to appear in the eight new episodes which will air two episodes every Sunday from May 12th through to June 2nd.
