Squid Game
Netflix is set to screen the Korean-language thriller series “Squid Game” via two-day theater engagements in both New York and Los Angeles.
The first season will be screened over two successive Saturday afternoons on February 12th (Eps 1-4) and 19th (Eps 5-9) at Paris Theater in New York and Bay Theater in Pacific Palisades. Sessions start at noon. [Source: Variety]
Mayans MC
FX has announced an April 19th release date for the fourth season of their gritty, biker-based “Sons of Anarchy” spin-off series “Mayans M.C.”.
The first two episodes of the season will air back-to-back on the premiere date with the remaining eight to then air weekly. The series will also become available to stream on Hulu the next day. [Source: FX]
Doomsday Machine
“Doomsday Machine,” a scripted series about “the political and social minefields Facebook has navigated on its relentless quest for growth,” has landed at HBO. 
Emmy winner Claire Foy stars as Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg in the series based on Sheera Frenkel and Cecilia Kang’s book “An Ugly Truth”. Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and author Ayad Akhtar will pen the series. [Source: THR]
Agatha Christie
Streaming service BritBox has extended its production partnership with the Agatha Christie estate – signing on for three more productions based on her works following their “Why Didn’t They Ask Evans” mini-series which premieres in April.  Which three stories they will be has not been revealed. [Source: Variety]
Apples Never Fall
Peacock has handed out a straight-to-series order for the limited series “Apples Never Fall” based on Liane Moriarty’s bestselling novel.
Melanie Marnich will serve as showrunner and pen the adaptation which centers on an enviably contented family led by two former tennis coaches. When the matriarch disappears, her adult children are forced to re-examine their parents’ marriage and their family history. [Source: Deadline]
