Snowfall
FX has ordered an untitled spinoff of “Snowfall” which will focus on the Leon (Isaiah John) and Wanda (Gail Bean) characters. Malcolm Spellman will produce the series which is set in 1990s Los Angeles soon after the end of the original series.
The story follows a recovering addict, Wanda, strives to take West Coast rap mainstream – while gang wars erupt and record labels move to exploit hip hop culture for their own gain. [Source: THR]
The Night Manager
The BBC and Prime Video have unveiled photos from the second season of “The Night Manager” which arrives a full eight years after the original mini-series pulled in over 10 million viewers.
Tom Hiddleston reprises his role of former British intelligence operative Jonathan Pine who now is working as a low-level MI6 officer running a quiet surveillance unit in London who finds himself caught up in an encounter with a Colombian businessman (Diego Calva).
A Thousand Blows
Disney+ has premiered a first look at the second season of its critically acclaimed original series “A Thousand Blows” which begins streaming January 9th.
One year on, Hezekiah Moscow (Malachi Kirby) has become a shadow of the man he once was, while Sugar Goodson (Stephen Graham), estranged from his family, is drinking himself to death.
As the area of Wapping faces decline, Mary Carr (Erin Doherty) storms back into town with her steadfast ally Alice Diamond (Darci Shaw) to rebuild her notorious gang and reclaim her crown. New additions include Ned Dennehy and Catherine McCormack.
Bergerac
UKTV has released the first photos from the upcoming six-episode second season of its drama series reimagining of “Bergerac”. Damien Molony, Zoe Wanamaker, Robert Gilbert, Sasha Behar and Chloé Sweetlove return and are joined by Adrian Edmondson, Lesley Sharp, Camilla Beeput and Turlough Convery.
When the groom at a wedding reception on the island is found murdered in his hotel room, the wedding party comes under intense suspicion and scrutiny. Jim will have to decipher the victim’s cryptic last words from his speech if he is ever going to bring the killer to justice.
Soon more skeletons come to light, making this his most intricate case yet. Filming recently wrapped on the new run in Jersey and the new season is expected early-mid 2026.
