Untitled Skate Kitchen Series
HBO is reportedly developing a female skateboarding comedy series inspired by the film “Skate Kitchen”. That film’s helmer Crystal Moselle will direct and co-write the series alongside “Love” creator Lesley Arfin with both set to executive produce.

Currently untitled and set against the backdrop of New York City, the action will follow a diverse group of young women navigating their lives through the predominantly male-oriented world of skateboarding. [Source: Variety]

Tell Me A Story
CBS All Access has renewed its psychological thriller anthology series “Tell Me A Story” for a second season. Kevin Williamson and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment produces the series which takes the world’s most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted thriller in modern-day New York City. Justin Lin
“Fast Five” filmmaker Justin Lin has closed an overall exclusive deal with Apple for TV development. Lin’s Perfect Storm Entertainment company, which has yielded shows such as CBS’ “Scorpion” and “SWAT” and Cinemax’s upcoming “Warrior,” will create content exclusively for Apple’s upcoming streaming service.

Lin’s move to Apple continues the tech giant’s plans to develop a vast array of original programming. Lin is currently working on the ninth entry in the “Fast & Furious” franchise. [Source: Variety]

Corman’s Hollywood
Shout! Studios, Ace Film HK Company, and Friendship Films have teamed up to produce the multi-part documentary series “Corman’s Hollywood” about producer/director Roger Corman and his wife and partner Julie Corman.

Ashley Sidaway and Robert Sidaway created the thirteen-episode series which explores the illustrious career odyssey of the pair, uncovers inside backstories on many popular movies they made, as well as provides a candid portrait of a trailblazing indie filmmaking duo. [Source: Shout! Studios]

Star Trek: Discovery
