Starz has handed out a second-season renewal for its darkly comedic Samantha Morton-led drama “The Serpent Queen” – the order coming just days ahead of the first season’s finale.

The Bends
FX has handed out a pilot order for the drama “The Bends” from “Quiz Show” scribe Paul Attanasio and “The Handmaid’s Tale” executive producer Warren Littlefield.

Girls5eva
Peacock’s cancelled musical comedy series “Girls5eva” has been saved from cancellation by Netflix who has picked up the Tina Fey-produced series for a new third season.

In addition, they have acquired the global streaming rights to the show’s first two seasons. The order comes nearly five months since the series wrapped its eight-episode second season. [Source: TV Line]

Black Rabbit
Jason Bateman and Jude Law are developing the limited series “Black Rabbit” at Netflix. The pair will star in the project and serve as executive producers.
