CBS has announced a new December 2nd premiere date for the fourth season of “SEAL Team” with a two-hour block of episodes following Bravo Team as they enter enemy territory to capture the leader of a terrorist group and his son. The show’s star David Boreanaz directed the episode. [Source: CBS]
Gentlemen Jack
Lookout Point has announced that production on the second season of HBO and BBC’s period drama series “Gentleman Jack” has finally started in Yorkshire despite the ongoing lockdown. The new season will also feature the addition of Joanna Scanlan as Anne Lister’s former lover Isabella ‘Tib’ Norcliffe. Sally Wainwright returns as writer/director. [Source: HBO]
In Treatment
Anthony Ramos will join Uzo Aduba in the fourth season of HBO’s Emmy-winning drama series “In Treatment”. Production is expected to begin soon under COVID-19 safety guidelines while Jennifer Schuur and Joshua Allen will showrun.
The new season will serve as a reimagining of the series and will focus on a diverse trio of patients in session with the observant, empathetic Dr. Brooke Lawrence (Aduba) while she wrestles with her own issues. Young Wallander
Netflix has renewed its European drama “Young Wallander” for a second season. Based on Henning Mankell’s “Wallander” novels, Swedish actor Adam PÃ¥lsson stars as a younger version of the eponymous detective in this modern reimagining set in present-day Sweden with Richard Dillane and Leanne Best also starring. Walker
The CW has released an early teaser for Jared Padalecki’s new series “Walker,” a reboot of the “Walker, Texas Ranger” franchise, premiering on Thursday, January 21st. Chris Labadie has also joined the series in a recurring role as a tough ex-con involved in a heroin smuggling operation who gets under Walker’s skin.
Padalecki plays a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years, only to discover there’s harder work to be done at home.
