Power Book II: Ghost
Starz has set a July 12th premiere date for “Power Book II: Ghost,” the first installment of the expanded Power Universe. The series picks up shortly after the original series as Tariq St. Patrick finds himself on his own for the first time in his life as his father is dead and his mother, Tasha, is facing charges for the murder Tariq committed, all while attending an Ivy League to earn his inheritance. Cate Blanchett
Following their work together on “Mrs. America,” Cate Blanchett and her Dirty Films label have signed a first-look TV deal with FX Productions. The agreement covers all scripted and unscripted programming for FX, as well as potentially other divisions of Walt Disney Television. Dirty Films is headed by Blanchett, Andrew Upton and Coco Francini. [Source: Variety]

Roswell, New Mexico
Carina Adly MacKenzie will officially be departing as co-showrunner on The CW’s sci-fi drama series “Roswell, New Mexico” ahead of its upcoming third season. MacKenzie says she made the decision to leave because of ‘fundamental differences’. The series stars Jeanine Mason, Nathan Parsons, Michael Trevino, Michael Vlamis, Heather Hemmens, and Tyler Blackburn. Season 3 is expected sometime in 2021. [Source: Twitter]

30 Rock
NBC has just released the trailer for “30 Rock: A One Time Special,” which sees Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer reprising their roles for an upcoming one-night reunion. The special airs Thursday, July 16th and is tied into this year’s NBC upfronts which previews new programming for the network.
