After a nearly two-year hiatus, Starz’s “P-Valley” series will return with its ten-episode second season to premiere on the premium cabler on June 3rd.

The series is set in the Mississippi Delta and follows the lives of the employees of a strip club called ‘The Pynk’. The first season debuted to critical acclaim and was a hit with viewers. [Source: Starz]

On the Verge
The Julie Delpy-created and led comedy series “On the Verge” has been cancelled by Netflix and Canal+ after one season. Delpy revealed the news in an Instagram post, saying the show was cancelled but distributors “forgot to announce it was cancelled”.

The L.A.-set half-hour series followed four female friends in their late 40s (Delpy, Elisabeth Shue, Sarah Jones and Alexia Landeau) who chose to use midlife as an opportunity for personal reinvention to find lives that embodied their beliefs and values. [Source: Instagram]

Hacks
Susie Essman and Devon Sawa will join Laurie Metcalf, Ming-Na Wen, Martha Kelly and Margaret Cho as guest stars on the second season of HBO Max’s “Hacks” starring Jean Smart, Hannah Einbinder, Poppy Liu and Mark Indelicato. The new season kicks off in May. [Source: Variety]

The Man Who Fell To Earth
Showtime has premiered a new trailer for its “The Man Who Fell to Earth” sequel series with the preview exploring more of Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Faraday character who becomes a human to save his own alien race with the help of Justin Falls (Naomie Harris).

Bill Nighy, Rob Delaney, Sonya Cassidy, Clarke Peters, Jimmi Simpson, and Kate Mulgrew also star in the series which premieres on April 24th.
